Hi everyone! Today I have an extra special card to share with you. It’s my daughter’s 3rd Birthday today and I wanted to create something cute and colorful for her to enjoy!
To create this card, I first ink blended a background on A2 Bristol smooth cardstock using the following distress oxide inks: squeezed lemonade, dried marigold, worn lipstick, picked raspberry, spun sugar, abandoned coral and seedless preserves. Then using the new layered bokeh stencils, I blended over the panel using the corresponding distress inks. Then, using an embossing foam and the bokeh stencil, I ran the panel though the die cutting machine to create a raised/embossed effect.
The largest scallop frame die was cut from white cardstock and adhered to the inked panel using foam tape. Then, I white heat embossed the balloons from birthday friends stamp set, ink blended the balloons using the corresponding distress inks (listed above) and then cut the balloons using the corresponding dies.

The cute koala image is from the party friends stamp set (and it’s on sale right now!!!). The image was stamped using copic friendly black ink on Bristol 110lb smooth cardstock and colored using the following copics: E0000, W1, W3, W5 (koala), V01, V04, V06, RV02, RV17, R24, R02, R14 (cake). The image was cut using the coordinating die and mounted on foam tape to the front of the panel. White accents added with a gel pen and the card was adhered to an A2 white card base.
Thank you so much for stopping by today!
