Bonjour!  This slimline card features the Bonjour stamp set from Waffle Flower illustrated by Kamo.  I wanted to create a “magical” feel so I colored the images in pastel colors and created a soft background.

Slimline cards can be a challenge, but to help with the die cutting, I purchased extra long cutting plates for my sizzix machine.  This allows me to cut the dies easily and I strongly recommend them if you plan on making a lot of slimline cards!

To start this card, I cut a slim line die piece from Trinity stamps from Bristol cardstock.  Tattered rose distress oxide ink blended to create the sky.  Grass was ink blended using the following distress oxide colors: peacock feathers, shabby shutters and twisted citron.   Twisted citron mixed with water and splatted on the grass for texture and water splattered on the sky.

The images from the Bonjour set were stamped on Neenah 110lb cardstock with memento tuxedo black ink and colored with copic markers.
Flowers: Y17, Y02, RV42, RV13, R01.  Leaves: BG32, YG06, YG01.  Tower: N1 and N0.  House: E33, E31, E30 and rooftop: E35, E53.  Girl’s dress: B63, B60, BV01, V01, V000.
Images cut and adhered to the inked background using glue and thin foam squares.  The Bonjour sentiment was stamped using VersaFine Clair ink in Nocturne.  The entire panel was adhered to white cardstock cut using the Lawn Fawn large slimline die and a slimline card base (measuring 3.5 inches by 8.5 inches).

Thank you so much for stopping by today!  Hope this card puts a smile on your face!
