A couple days ago I shared this card on instagram. I used various shades of cardstock to create a fun honeycomb pattern using the stitched hexagon dies from Pretty Pink Posh. Cardstock colors are: Peony, Melon, Bubblegum (stamp market), Apricot and Sticky Note (Lawn Fawn). Next, I stamped the images from the bee friends stamp set and let’s party stamp set (hats) using versafine black ink onto Bristol smooth cardstock. The images were then colored using a number 1 paint brush, water and the following zig real brush pen colors:
Bee body: 010, 050, 055
Wings: 049
Cheeks on bees: 200
Hats: 021, 220, 052, 050
White gel pen used to add accents to the images and the images were cut using the coordinating bee friends die and let’s party die.
The celebrate sentiment was stacked three times after cutting it from white cardstock. I adhered it using liquid glue and stamped the sentiment using the let’s party stamp set. Pretty Pink Posh 6mm sequins in strawberry burst, ballerina pink and sunshine glow tucked into the edges of the hexagons to mimic honey and add some sparkle!

Thanks so much for stopping by today! Hope you enjoyed this bright and whimsical scene!
How bee-tiful!
