Hi Friends!  I’m so happy to be sharing this fun and festive holiday card!  Last year I created a gingerbread house, this year, a castle!  I used several Lawn Fawn stamps and dies, along with super fun embellishments!  All the products I used are listed on the bottom of the post with links.

This extra special post comes with an extra special surprise!  One lucky winner will win a brand new milk and cookies stamp and die set by Lawn Fawn!  All you have to do is leave a comment!  I will announce a winner on Instagram next Thursday!  Open internationally!

To start, I first cut a panel from Bristol cardstock using the largest stitched rectangle die.  Next, I ink blended the background from top to bottom using distress oxide inks: milled lavender, spun sugar and dried marigold.   Then using paper bag cardstock, I lightly ink blended a brick background using the brick stencil and brushed corduroy oxide ink.  Next, I cut a castle from the ink blended piece using the build a castle die.  White cardstock used to cut the castle rooftops, flags, windows and door.  Bazzil white cardstock was used since it has a nice texture.  All the castle pieces were adhered using liquid glue and the castle was propped up using thin foam squares.

Next, I stamped and colored images from several Lawn Fawn sets using copic markers.  White gel pen used for accents.  Puffy cloud border and stitched tree border dies cut from pixie dust cardstock to look like sparkling snow (or sugar) and adhered to the bottom of the card.  All of the pieces were arranged and adhered using liquid glue and double sided tape.

Now for the super fun part!  Nuvo glitter drops in silver crystals added to the gum drops for sparkle.  Nuvo crystal drops in simple white used for the “frosting.”  I used Nuvo jewel drops in various colors to add to the tree and flags.  Glossy accents used on the lollipops and windows to create a shiny surface.

Lastly, I stamped the sentiment from winter wavy saying on white cardstock using worn lipstick oxide ink and cut it using the simple wavy banners die.  And that completes the card!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!  Leave a comment on my instagram or on my blog for a change to win the milk and cookies stamp and die set.  Winner will be announced next Thursday (July 23rd) on Instagram!
