Hi friends!  It’s that time again!  It’s time to get cracking on Christmas!  This month, we are featuring some beautiful stamp sets from Colorado Craft Company.  I’ve got a lot of fun holiday projects for you today!

To start, I’ve got an ombre inked card featuring the lovely legs -Santa & Rudolph stamp set.  After using a powder tool on an A2 piece of white cardstock, I stamped the image using versamark ink on the center of the cardstock.  Then, I used white embossing powder to heat emboss the image.  Next, I masked the top and bottom of the panel using post-it tape.  Catherine pooler inks (left to right): sangria, flirty fuchsia and pixie dust used to ink blend an ombre background.  White colored pencil and purple ink pen used to create extra dimension to the images.  I finished the card using studio Katia arctic breeze pearls and a border from Lawn Fawn.  The sentiment is from the same stamp set and it was white heat embossed on black cardstock and adhered using foam tape.

For my next project, I create a pair of ombre inked holiday tags using the same lovely legs – Santa & Rudolph stamp set.  The technique is the same expect this time I swapped the color grape crush for sangria.  The tags were cut using the scrapbook.com jumbo nested dies and I added festive ribbon from my local craft store.

For my last project, I used the big and bold holiday ornament stamp set.  This set has a large ornament image with beautiful details and I really wanted the image to pop.  After using a powder tool, I stamped the ornament image using versamark ink and white heat embossed the image.  Next, I ink blended the image using various colors of Catherine Pooler inks to create a colorful blend.  Then, the image was cut using scissors and I mounted it on a piece of white woodgrain cardstock.  The sentiment from lovely legs –  Rudolph & Santa was stamped on white cardstock using black ink and adhered to the center of the card.  I added a few clear droplets from pretty pink posh for dimension.
