Hi everyone happy Saturday! I’m sharing this fun moonlight ninja card made using images from Waffle Flower crafts and dies for Lawn Fawn. I love to mix and match sets to get the most out of my stamps and dies!
To start, on an A2 size piece of Bristol smooth cardstock, I masked off a circle using masking paper and a circle die. Using an ink blending tool, I ink blended the sky using tumbled glass, salty ocean, faded jeans and black soot distress oxide inks. Water and white paint was used to splatter the background to create a star-filled sky! The mask was then removed to reveal a bright white moon! After the panel was dry, I used a stitched statckables die to cut the panel.
Next, I cut the roof top using a roof top die and inked the edges using pumice stone distress oxide ink. The pieces were glued together along with some brown paper to resemble the top of a house. The entire panel was then adhered to the card front using double-sided tape.
Images from the konnichiwa set stamped using black ink and colored using Copic Markers. I shaded the images in 3 different ways to suggest moonlight and shadows in different areas.
Lastly, the sentiment was pieced together using offset sayings Birthday set and Cole’s ABC’s to create the word “lil’ ninja.”
This card would be perfect for a ninja- loving little boy or girl!
