Hello and welcome to my blog!
This is a place where I will share details about my card making process, various inks and tools I love and organization ideas! I’m so happy to be sharing with you all!
My first post features a card using products from Pretty Pink Posh!
To start, I used an A2 size piece of Bristol smooth cardstock and ink blended the panels using distress oxide inks in victorian velvet and tattered rose. Water and the corresponding inks were then used to splattered the background for additional texture. After the panel was dry, I used the just stitching double rectangles die to add texture to the border.
Images from the school friends stamp set
were stamped using Versafine Clair ink in acorn on Bristol cardstock. I then used tombow ABT pens and zig brush pens to color the images. The sentiment “hey there smarty pants” was stamped on black cardstock using versamark ink and white heat embossed. The panel was glued to a white card stock scrap slightly larger than the sentiment panel to create the illusion of a chalkboard.
Then I cut the images using the coordinating dies
and used a combination of glue and thin foam squares to mount my images. Lastly, the sentiment a the bottom was stamped using the everyday greetings stamp set
using acorn ink.
Thank you so much for stopping by today! Hope you all have a wonderful day!
