Hi Friends! I’m back with a super fun slider card for the current Lawn Fawnatics challenge – Happy Birthday! This month Lawn Fawn celebrates 11 years and Lawn Fawnatics 4 years of challenges! I’m so happy to be participating in the Lawn Fawn challenges!

To start this card, I first created a background using an A2 piece of Neenah white 110lb cardstock and the bubbles stencil. I used the following Stamp Market Inks to create my colorful background: cotton candy, fuchsia, orchid, tropic, island. I used distress ink in twisted citron for the green-yellow.

After the bubbles were ink blended, I stamped the balloon strings using the really high five stamp set.

Next, I stamped the images using memento black ink on Neenah 110lb cardstock using the following stamp sets: really high five (balloons and party hat), bicycle built for you (cluster of 3 balloons), bubbles of joy (mouse on balloon). The balloons were colored using the following copic marker colors: RV63, RV00, RV21, RV04, RV02, RV55, V000, RV13, RV10, TG01, YG00, YG05, BG11, BG13, BG32. The images were then cut using the coordinating dies.

To create the slider mechanism, I used the slide on over die set. The ink blended balloon panel was die cut first using the stitched rectangle stackables die and then using the straight piece from the slide on over die. Make sure to keep the center die cut piece of the slider. MTF slider element was used to anchor the front and back pieces of the slider. Then, I used double foam tape to adhere the front piece to a panel of perfectly plaid remix paper cut from a large stitched rectangle stackables die.

The Birthday sentiment was stamped using versafine black ink and the celebration countdown stamp set. White gel pen used to add accents and that finishes the card!

Thanks so much for stopping by today! Hope you enjoyed this fun and happy card!
