Hi Friends! I have this fun scene featuring these cute dwarves (or gnomes), from Lawn Fawn. My color palette was inspirited by the Butterfly Reflections Ink mood board colors (see below).
My scene was also inspired by Snow White and the seven dwarves and the hobbit. To create a fun interactive element, I added a dwarf behind the doorway.
Listed below are all the sets used to create this card:
Toadally awesome (lotus flowers, trees)
Gleeful gardens (scrubs)
S’more the merrier -exclusive set for Ellen Hutson (guitar)
Mushroom house die
Puffy cloud border die
Forest border die
Large slimline die with sliders
Easter egg frames (bridge)
The images were stamped using Intense black ink and colored using the following Copic Markers:
Dwarves: YR27, YR23, Y23, E99, E97, E53 (clothing), E31, Y00, Y30 (face), BG09, BG15, BG11 (pants), R20 and R000 for cheeks.
Mushrooms: W5, W3, W1 (stems), B79, B66, BV02, BV00 and B16, B12 (tops)
Shrubs (BG57, YG05, YG01)
The background distress oxide ink blended colors are (top to bottom): blueprint sketch, wilted violet, twisted citron and mermaid lagoon.
Gina K glitz glitter gel in white added to the pond water to create a shimmery effect!
The mushroom house was cut using the Lawn Fawn paper bag cardstock and woodgrain neutrals. Brick stencil used with walnut ink to add texture to the house. I used cilantro cardstock with some ink splatters on the trees at the top and mermaid cardstock was used on the tree border in the background. I created a bridge using the Easter egg frame (cut the top off to form a semi-circle).
