Hi Friends!  It’s that time again!  Time to get cracking on Christmas!  I’m sharing this colorful holiday card featuring these cute yetis.

To create a snowy backdrop, I cut the back panel from a piece of Bristol smooth cardstock and cut it using the large slimline dies.  Next, I blended seedless preserves, picked raspberry, abandoned coral and dried marigold distress oxide inks at the top of the panel.  Snowflakes from the winter skies stamp set white heat embossed to create a fun snowy backdrop.

Next, I used abandoned coral, dried marigold, picked raspberry and spun sugar distress inks on another panel to create the snowy mountains.  The stitched mountain die was cut from a piece of acetate to create a stencil for the mountains.  I used the forest border die and white cardstock to create additional interest to the background.  Next, I used a piece of pixie dust cardstock and the hillside border dies to create a sparkling snowy front panel.  All the panels were glued together.  I added foam tape after cutting the mountain border for added interest and dimension.  Water was splatted on both panels to mimic falling snow.

Images are from the yeti or not stamp set and the ho-ho holidays set (for the presents). I colored the images using copic markers and cut them using coordinating dies. The sentiment is from Finley’s ABCs and the yeti or not stamp set. The “merry” sentiment was stacked three times to create extra dimension and I added foam tape to “Christmas” and “the best is yeti to come” sentiments. The snowboarding yeti is mounted on an action wobble to add a fun interactive element to the card. Finally, the card was mounted on a slimline card base and that finishes the card! Thank you so much for stopping by today! You will find links to the products I used below. Please be sure to stop by Jenn’s blog for more holiday inspiration from my crafty friends!
