Hi Friends! I’m sharing this sweet card using a few new sets from the Lawn Fawn release. I stayed with a blue and pink color theme for Valentine’s Day.

To start, I first stamped all the images using versafine clair ink in nocturne on Bristol smooth cardstock using a Misti stamping tool. Sets used: Quinn’s capital ABC’s (OWL word), Love letters (large letter), and Special Delivery. Next, I colored all the images using my Tombow dual brush pens. The following colors used: 969, 977, 910, 803 (owl), 407, 451 (hat and bag), 291, 743, 723 (owl letters and the background letters). The images were then cut using the coordinating dies.

The background was created by cutting a piece of Bristol smooth cardstock from the stitched rectangle stackables die set. Then I used the stitched cloud backdrop (portrait) to emboss the cloudy background. Next, used the following distress oxide inks to ink the background: cracked pistachio, mermaid lagoon, tumbled glass and speckled egg.

Next, the panel was cut using the pull tab add-on die to create the mechanism for the flapping wings. You can find wonderful tutorials on the Lawn Fawn YouTube page on how to use this die. The background panel is pattern paper from the let it shine 6 x 6 paper pack. I cut the panel using the largest rectangle from the stitched rectangle stackables die set. All the elements were adhered to the card front using a mix of liquid glue and foam tape.

White gel pen used to add accents to my images. The entire panel was adhered to an A2 white card base and that completes the card!

Thanks so much for stopping by today! Happy crafting!
