I’ve got this cute monkey card using a mix of products from Pretty Pink Posh!

To start, the background panel was cut to a slimline card size (3.5 x 8.5 inches) from Neenah white card stock. Next, I used distress oxide inks in spun sugar, tattered rose, victorian velvet and milled lavender to ink blend the scene. I used the corresponding distress ink colors with the layered leaves and flowers stencil to create the look of foliage at the top.

Next, the images from monkey friends, happy mail and valentine’s circles were stamped using versafine black ink. Images were colored using the following tombow ABT marker colors and a damp paint brush: 020, 992, 910, 761, 803 (monkeys), 910, 020, 977, 992 (mailbox), 133, 243 (grass), and 673 for the purple background behind the top monkey. After all the images were colored, a white gel pen used to add accents. The images were then adhered to the card front using liquid glue and thin foam squares.

White cardstock used to cut out a frame from the larger slimline scallop frames die. Top sentiment is from the everyday greetings stamp set and the “happy valentines day” is from the love stamp set. Pretty Pink Posh 6mm and 4mm sequins in ballerina pink added for sparkle!

Thank you so much for stopping by today! Have a wonderful day and happy crafting!
