Hi Friends!  I’m sharing a slimline card using some stamps from Waffle Flower Crafts.  This color combination includes purples, greens, blues and teals which are easy on the eyes.  I added a bit of sparkle with Nuvo glitter drops on the sentiment and white drops on the flowers for added interest.

To start, I used the trinity stamps slimline die to cut a background from plain white cardstock.  I did not use Bristol paper because I wanted to see what happens when blending on white cardstock.  Using the blender brushes, I softly blended the upper half of the panel with Aquatini and Pixie Dust inks from Catherine Pooler.  The blue shade you see is the result of the two colors mixing.  I loved how it turned out!  This would be a great way to stretch your supplies by blending on white cardstock.

Next, I ink blended a panel of cardstock which was cut from the puffy cloud border die.  Again, I only used the same two ink colors as the background panel.  A second panel was cut from vellum.

Next I stamped and cut all the images from the Bonjour and Oyez stamp combo set from Waffle Flower and colored them using Copic Markers.  The houses from the Prost Germany stamp set were inked in Aquatini ink and stamped on the background.  The Big Ben stamp from the Oyez stamp set was also used.

Letters from Cole’s ABCs were cut from white cardstock to create the word “sunshine,” and the rest of the sentiment was stamped in pixie dust ink using the sunshine stamp set.  A combination of liquid glue and thin foam squares was used to adhere all the images to the card front.  I added white Nuvo drops to the flowers and glitter Nuvo drops to the word “sunshine” for extra sparkle!   The entire card was mounted on a slimline card base measuring 3.5 inches by 8.5 inches.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!  Hope you all have a wonderful day!
